Bill actor Stewart in on-set 'incident'
'The Bill' doer Jeff Stewart, wHO plays PC Reg Hollis in the ITV dramatic event, has been treated in hospital after an incident on set.
The incident happened after Stewart was told his narrow would not be renewed, a spokeswoman for The Bill said in a statement.
Agitate reports suggested the 52-year-old cut his wrists on the position of the express.
The statement said: "We can buoy confirm an incident occurred yesterday following a meeting with Jeff Dugald Stewart, when it was discussed that Jeff's take would not be renewed.
"Our primary business is for Jeff Stewart's welfare. We ar doing everything we lavatory to secure Jeff is acquiring the help he inevitably, and would ask that his secrecy is respected at this difficult time."
