With catchy strain titles care "Hey, Wanna Throw Up? Get Me Naked," "Monkey!!! Knife!!! Fight!!!," and "Lemurs, Man, Lemurs," it's grueling not to be at least a little bite peril most this Seattle-based fivesome. Featuring members of Blooper, Kill Sadie, and Sharks Observe Moving, Minus the Behave emerged on Seattle's euphony scenery in 2001 with the outlet of their six-song EP This Is What I Know About Organism Gigantic. The band comprised guitar player Dave Knudson, vocalist/ guitarist Jake Snider, drummer Erin John Orley Allen Tate, and bassist Cory Murchy. Though the band entered the studio in the beginning they e'er played a usher, they toured aggressively in victuals of the EP, then returned to the studio to record book 2002's Highly Refined Pirates, their first full-length album. Both the EP and LP were released by Seattle-based Suicide Pressure Records.

Though the nervous strain titles may collar i to think that they're a glow act, Subtraction the Yield provides polished, astutely arranged songs. Finger-tapped guitar riffs sundry with catchy melodies and unexpected time changes keep listeners interested and entertained. Minus the Pay issued iI EPs in 2004: Bands Wish It When You Outcry "Yar!" at Them on Felo-de-se Squeeze and They Make Beer Commericals Like This on Arena Rock. Their adjacent full-length, the self-generated Menos el Oso (Spanish people for Minus the Accept), appeared in August 2005; the remix album Interpretaciones del Oso followed in betimes 2007. The band released the full-length Planet of Internal-combustion engine by and by that year.
